2 sticks butter
3 c. sugar
1/2 c. oil
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 tsp. lemon extract (may use juice)
6 eggs
3 c. flour
1 c. milk
1 tbsp. vanilla

Cream sugar, oil and butter. Add the eggs, one at a time. Beat well after each one. Alternate additions of flour and milk. Mix well after each addition. Add the extract last. Have a smooth batter. Pour into a 10 inch tube pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 1/2 hours.
