1 med. head cabbage, cored, steamed, separated 2 onions, chopped 2 lbs. ground beef 1 lb. ground pork 1 c. uncooked rice Salt & pepper to taste 1 lg. or 2 sm. cans tomato soup 1 c. catsup 2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce 1 tbsp. soy sauce 2 1/2 c. water Prepare cored cabbage in boiling salted water. Cover. Heat 15 to 20 minutes until tender or remove after leaves come loose. Remove vein from cabbage. Mix meat, rice, onion, salt, and pepper in large mixing bowl. Wrap 1/4 to 1/2 cup meat in cabbage. Roll up from stem, line in roaster. Mix remaining ingredients and pour over cabbage rolls. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 to 1 1/2 hours. Extras can be frozen. Makes 15 to 20. |
