SWISS STEAK IN A PACKAGE | |
1 c. catsup 1/4 c. flour 2 lb. round steak, 1 inch thick 1 onion, sliced 2 tbsp. lemon juice or 1 thinly sliced lemon Tear off 5 feet length of aluminum foil, fold double. Combine catsup and flour; spoon half in center of foil. Place steak on top; season. Cover meat with onion slices and remaining catsup mixture. Sprinkle with lemon juice or top with lemon slices. Fold foil over and seal securely. Place in shallow baking dish. Bake at 450 degrees for 1 1/2 hours or until tender. Makes 5-6 servings. |
