GINGER SNAP COOKIES 
3/4 c. butter
1 c. granulated sugar
1 egg
4 tbsp. molasses
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. ginger

Cream butter and sugar; add eggs and molasses. Sift dry ingredients together; mix thoroughly. Make small balls; dip in sugar. Place sugar side up on lightly greased pan. Bake at 350 degrees about 15 minutes.
