THREE-MINUTE FUDGE | |
2/3 c. evaporated milk 1 2/3 c. sugar 1/2 tsp. salt 2 c. miniature marshmallows or 16 lg. marshmallows, cut into fourths 18 oz. (1 1/2 pkgs.) semi-sweet chocolate chips 1 tsp. vanilla 1/2 c. chopped nuts Mix milk, sugar and salt in 2 quart saucepan. Heat to boiling over low heat. Boil until thermometer registers 225 degrees. Remove from heat; add marshmallows, chocolate chips, vanilla and nuts, stirring until marshmallows and chocolate are melted. Pour into buttered square pan, 9x9x2 inches. Refrigerate until firm, cut into about 1 1/2 inch squares. Yield: 3 dozen candies. |
