BANANA SPLIT DESSERT 
2 c. graham cracker crumbs
5 tbsp. melted butter
2 c. powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 stick butter
2 eggs
2 bananas
1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple, drained
1 lg. container Cool Whip
Chopped nuts (optional)

Combine graham cracker crumbs and melted butter. Press into 10 x 13 inch pan. Beat sugar, vanilla, and 1 stick butter for 10 minutes. Beat in eggs, then spread mixture over crust. Peel bananas; slice in half lengthwise and place over cream layer. Spoon drained pineapple over bananas. Make final layer by covering pineapple with Cool Whip. Top with nuts, if desired, and chill 4 hours.

Variation - After Cool Whip, top with diced maraschino cherries, sprinkle chopped pecans, and drizzle Hershey's chocolate sauce.
