SUMMER SQUASH CASSEROLE | |
1 c. grated American cheese 1 lb. squash, sliced 1 onion, chopped 2 eggs 1 c. milk 1 tbsp. butter 8-10 crackers, crushed 1/2 tsp. pepper 1 tsp. salt Cook squash and onion until tender; drain and mash. Beat eggs, add milk, cracker crumbs, cheese, butter and seasonings. Add to squash and onions. Pour into buttered one quart baking dish. Bake at 350 degrees 25-30 minutes until done but not dry. |
