WEDDING BALLS 
1/2 c. butter
1/4 c. powdered (10X) sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
3/4 c. flour
1/8 tsp. salt
1 c. chopped pecans
1/2 c. powdered (10X) sugar

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In bowl, cream together butter and sugar. Add vanilla, flour, salt, and pecans. Shape into 1-inch balls. Place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheets. Bake 12 to 15 minutes or until bottoms are golden. Remove cookies from sheets, cool on racks; while warm, roll in powdered sugar, coating completely. Yield: 2 1/2 dozen.
