OLD COUNTRY STORE COCA COLA CAKE 
Cake:

1 c. Coca Cola
1/2 c. oil
1 stick butter
3 tbsp. cocoa
2 c. sugar
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp salt
2 eggs
1/2 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla

In a saucepan bring Coca Cola, oil, butter, and cocoa to a boil. Mix together sugar, flour, and salt. Pour in the boiling liquid and beat well. Add the eggs, buttermilk, soda and vanilla; beat well. Pour into a greased and floured sheet cake pan.

Bake at 350°F for 20 to 25 minutes.

Frosting:

1/4 lb. butter
3 tbsp cocoa
1/2 to 1 c. chopped pecans
1 lb. confectioners' sugar
6 tbsp. cream or milk
1 tsp. vanilla

In saucepan, combine the butter, cocoa, and milk; heat until the butter melts. Beat in the remaining ingredients and spread on the hot cake. Cool and cut.
