GOBS 
COOKIES:

2 c. sugar
1/2 c. shortening
2 eggs
1 c. sour milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. cocoa
1/2 tsp. salt
4 c. flour
3 tsp. baking soda

Beat sugar, shortening and eggs. Add milk, vanilla and remaining ingredients mix well. Drop by teaspoonful on ungreased baking sheets. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in preheated 425 degree oven.

FILLING:

1 1/2 c. milk
8 1/2 tsp. flour
2 c. confectioners sugar
2 blocks butter
3/4 c. shortening
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla

Cook milk and flour (stirring constantly) in saucepan until mixture thickens. Allow mixture to cool. Then add confectioners sugar, butter, shortening, salt and vanilla. Beat until creamy. Sandwich filling between two cookies.
