TACO CASSEROLE 
1 lb. ground beef
2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
3/4 c. water
1 pkg. dry taco seasoning mix
1 1/2 c. sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
1 1/2 c. Fritos corn chips, crumbled
1 (16 oz.) can kidney beans, drained

Brown ground beef in skillet. Drain off fat. Stir in tomato sauce, water, and taco seasoning mix. Simmer uncovered 10 minutes. Stir in kidney beans. Pour 1/2 of meat mixture in a lightly buttered casserole dish (2 quart dish). Sprinkle 1 cup corn chips and 1 cup of cheese over the meat. Continue to layer ending with cheese as the top layer. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Serves 6.
