CRAB AU GRATIN 
1 lb. backfin crab meat
1/2 c. mayonnaise
1/2 sour cream
1/4 c. chopped onion (minced
1/4 c. chopped green pepper, minced
1 c. shredded sharp cheese
Salt and pepper to taste
1/4 tsp. garlic powder (optional)

Pick cartilage from crab meat. Toss onion, green pepper, and 3/4 cup cheese into crab meat; mix gently. Mix mayonnaise and sour cream together. Toss crab mixture with mayonnaise, sour cream; mix until well mixed. More sour cream may be added if too dry.

Place combined mixtures in a greased casserole. Top with balance of cheese. Heat in microwave until heated through, or in conventional oven for 20-30 minute at 350 degrees. Cheese will melt and make topping.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
