APPLESAUCE NUT BREAD 
2 c. flour
3/4 c. sugar
1 tbsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 c. coarsely chopped walnuts
1 egg, well beaten
1 c. applesauce
1/4 c. vegetable oil

Mix sifted dry ingredients and nuts together. Combine egg, applesauce and oil. Add to dry ingredients and stir just until blended. Pour into a 5 x 9 inch greased loaf pan. (Came out good with pan just greased.) Bake for 50 minutes at 350 degrees.
