AUNT CHRISSIE'S FROZEN DESSERT 
2 1/2 c. crushed Rice Chex
8 oz. coconut
1 c. brown sugar
1 stick butter
1/2 gal. vanilla ice cream

Put sugar and butter in pan and melt. Stir in dry ingredients; use 13 x 9 pan. Put 1/2 mixture in cake pan. Spoon on softened ice cream then rest of mixture on top. Freeze. When serving top with maraschino cherries. At Christmas time you can use food coloring to brighten your dessert (red & green). Valentines Day pink and red. March green.
