1 c. nuts 1/2 c. butter 1 tsp. vanilla 1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips 2 c. sugar 1 (6 oz.) evaporated milk 10 marshmallows Put in large bowl: 1 cup nuts, 1/2 cup butter, 1 teaspoon vanilla and 1 (6 ounce) package chocolate chips (semi-sweet). Put in saucepan: 2 cups sugar, 1 (6 ounce) can evaporated milk and 10 marshmallows. Let come to a boil, stirring constantly. Boil 6 minutes. Continue stirring while it boils. Pour hot mixture over contents in bowl. Stir until chocolate chips and butter are melted. Pour into buttered square pan. Let cool and cut in squares. (Can double recipe and use 9 x 13 inch pan). |
