SECRET KISS COOKIES 
1 cup butter, softened
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
1 c. nuts, finely chopped
1 (9 oz.) pkg. chocolate kisses
Powdered sugar

Beat butter, sugar and vanilla at medium speed until light and fluffy. Add flour and nuts, and beat at low speed until blended. Chill dough. Remove foil from kisses. Shape approximately 1 tablespoon of dough around each kiss and roll into a ball.

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Place balls on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for 12 minutes or until set but not browned. Roll in powdered sugar. Makes about 3 dozen cookies.
