PLUM TORTE 
Purple Italian or Prune plums
1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
Dash of salt optional

Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Cream butter, sugar and vanilla. Add eggs, add flour and baking powder. Spread dough in 9 inch spring form pan. Top with 12 plums, halved, cut side down. Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon.
