CHUCK WAGON BEANS 
6 or 7 slices bacon
1-2 lbs. ground beef
3 c. chopped onions
1 c. chopped celery
2/3 c. beef broth
1 1/2 clove minced garlic
1 1/2 c. catsup
3 tbsp. mustard
1 1/2 tsp. salt & pepper mix
2 cans molasses-style baked beans

In large saucepan, brown bacon until crisp. Remove bacon, cook ground beef in bacon grease.

Add onion, celery, garlic and cook until tender. Reduce heat; add catsup, mustard, beef broth, salt and pepper. Stir until catsup and mustard are well blended.

Add molasses-style beans. Simmer on low heat for 1-2 hours, stirring frequently.

Regular yellow mustard may be replaced with "spicy golden". It adds a slight zip. If molasses-style beans are not available, regular baked beans may be used and add 1 to 2 tablespoons of molasses. DO NOT DRAIN beans, use juice also.
