SOUTHERN EGGS | |
1 doz. eggs, boiled 1 tsp. garlic 1 tsp. oregano Salt and pepper to taste Mayonnaise, enough to make "sticky" 1 lb. pork sausage Parmesan cheese Paprika Shell eggs and remove yolks. Place white halves in 9 x 13 x 2 baking dish. Combine egg yolks with garlic, oregano, salt, pepper and mayonnaise to make "sticky". Replace yolk mixture into egg white halves. Brown sausage in skillet. Add to medium white sauce. Pour over "deviled" eggs. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and paprika. Bake at 350 degrees until bubbly hot. |
