SWEDISH KRINGLER 
1 c. flour
1/2 c. butter
2 tbsp. water
1 c. water
1/2 c. butter
1 c. flour
3 eggs
1/2 tsp. almond extract
Confectioners sugar icing

Mix first 3 ingredients until crumbly. Pat into 8 x 13 inch pan. Put water and butter into saucepan. Heat to boiling point. As you remove from heat, add flour and stir until smooth. Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition. Add almond extract and spread on first mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 55 to 60 minutes. When cool, frost with icing to which almond flavoring is added.
