SCOTCH SHORT BREAD COOKIES | |
1/4 lb. butter - no substitutes 1/3 c. sugar 1 c. flour Cream butter and sugar well. Add flour a little at a time. This will be very stiff. Pat into a 7 x 10 pan or iron skillet. Bake at 350 degrees for about 17 minutes. Do not brown, they should be lemon colored. Turn out on paper towel or brown paper. Cut into squares or fingers immediately. |
