ITALIAN BREAD 
1 1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. sugar
3 c. bread flour
1 c. water
2 1/2 tsp. yeast

Directions for bread machine.

Combine salt, sugar and bread flour in bread pan. Next, pour water on top. Fill yeast dispenser with 2 1/2 teaspoons of yeast. Press start pad. Remove bread pan from machine after beeping stops. Turn pan upside down to release bread and allow to cool on a wire rack. Makes 1 large loaf.

I added 2 tablespoons of Parmesan cheese and 3 tablespoons of butter, reserve 1 tablespoon of butter to brush the bread when its done.
