1/2 c. Crisco 1 egg 1 3/4 c. flour 1/2 c. cocoa Pinch of salt 1 c. sugar 1 c. milk 1 1/2 tsp. baking soda 1/2 tsp. vanilla Cream sugar and shortening together. Then add flour, baking soda and cocoa together. Add egg and vanilla. Stir until all mixed in. Add milk gradually and stir hard. Dough will be thick. Drop by teaspoon on greased cookie sheet. Bake in 425 degree oven for 6 to 7 minutes FILLING: 1/3 c. evaporated milk 3/4 c. sugar Pinch of salt 2/3 c. Crisco 1 tsp. vanilla Cream Crisco, sugar and salt together until well blended. Add vanilla an stir. Add milk VERY gradually, stirring well. Let stand 15 minutes and then beat until thick. When cookies are cool, put filling in between 2 cookies. |
