SHRIMP SCAMPI 
2 lg. onions
6 to 8 pods garlic
3/4 to 1 lb. butter
3 or 4 lb. shrimp
1 bunch shallot (chopped fine)
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/3 c. bread crumbs
1 qt. (or liter) dry white wine
Salt, pepper, cayenne pepper (to taste)

Saute onions in 1/4 lb. butter until clear. Add garlic, add 1/4 lb. butter, add 1/2 qt. wine, Worcestershire sauce and bread crumbs. Cook over medium heat 10 to 12 minutes. Add rest of butter and wine and chopped shallots. Cook 10 to 12 minutes over medium heat. Add shrimp, cook 15 (or) more minutes. Serve over very thin spaghetti with grated Parmesan cheese. Serves 3 to 4 people.
