4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1 (3 oz.) pkg. Jello
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla

Sift flour and baking powder together. Cream in butter. Gradually add sugar and Jello. Beat in egg and vanilla and then mix all until smooth. Bake at 400 degrees for 13 to 14 minutes. (Check often, be sure to take them out as soon as the bottom starts to brown. Depending on your oven and size of cookies, bake time could be as short as 8 minutes.)
