APPLE COBBLER 
1 can of pre-sliced apples
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1 tbsp. sugar
1/3 c. milk
1 tbsp. butter
1/8 tsp. nutmeg
1 c. biscuit mix

Empty apples into saucepan. Stir in cinnamon, nutmeg and butter. Cook over moderate heat, stirring occasionally until mixture boils. Pour into 1 quart casserole. Add sugar and milk to the biscuit mix and drop by spoonfuls onto hot apples in casserole. Bake at 450 degrees for 15 minutes. Serve with Cool Whip or light cream or ice cream. Makes 4 servings.
