ENGLISH PLUM PUDDING 
3/4 lb. suet, chopped fine and floured
2 lbs. raisins
1/2 lb. Sultana raisins
1 lb. currants
3/4 lb. (3 c.) flour (scant)
3/4 lb. bread crumbs
1 1/2 lbs. sugar
7 eggs, yolks and eggs beaten separately
1/2 tsp. each of cinnamon, clove, nutmeg
Sm. pinch ginger
1/4 lb. chopped almonds
1/2 lb. mixed candied peel
1/2 c. milk, scant
1 wine glass bourbon

Flour suet, fruit, peel and nuts lightly. Mix suet, bread crumbs, flour, sugar, raisins, currants, peel and chopped almonds. thoroughly. Next, mix in spices. Add beaten egg yolks. Rinse egg bowl with the 1/2 cup milk and add. Beat egg whites and add to the well mixed pudding dough. Last add whiskey and again mix thoroughly. This will fill 2 medium size molds. Boil at least 8 hours. True English recipe.
