4-5 apples
3 c. flour
2 c. sugar
3 tsp. baking powder
1 c. oil
1/2 c. orange juice
4 eggs
Cinnamon

Peel apples, slice and sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon; set aside.

Mix all ingredients together with beater (batter will be sticky and heavy). Pour 1/2 batter in tube pan (greased and floured). Add 1/2 apple mixture to top. Cover with remaining batter and top with remaining apples. Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 1/4-1 1/2 hours.
