SMIRUNDA - NORWEGIAN COOKIES 
1/2 c. butter
2 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. flour
1 c. finely chopped nuts

Thoroughly mix butter, sugar and vanilla. Gradually stir in flour and nuts. Chill for 1 hour. Shape into small balls. Bake on ungreased cookie sheets at 300 degrees for 15-17 minutes. Cool roll in powdered sugar, cool, sugar again.
