GLORIA'S AWARD WINNING
CHEESECAKE
 
4 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
16 oz. sour cream (1 ptsp.)
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. granulated sugar
1/4 lb. sweet butter
2 tbsp. cornstarch
1 tsp. lemon juice
5 eggs

Allow cream cheese, sour cream and butter to come to room temperature. In a large mixing bowl, blend together all ingredients except eggs. Beat eggs into mixture, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.

Pour mixture into a greased 10-inch spring-form pan. Place pan into a large roasting pan that has been half filled with hot water. If your spring-form pan leaks, cover outside with aluminum foil.

Bake in 375°F oven for 1 hour. Remove from oven to cool.
