FARMINGTON NEW ENGLAND STEW 
1 1/2 lbs. beef stew meat, cubed
3 or 4 onions
Celery, potatoes, carrots, green beans
2 cans tomato soup
Water, salt, and pepper

Place stew meat in bottom of large casserole dish. Cut up onions and place over meat, then make layers of sliced carrots, celery, green beans, and top with sliced potatoes.

Season meat and vegetables to taste. Pour tomato soup and enough water so that all ingredients will be covered. Cover casserole and bake in 350 degree oven for about 3 hours. Yield: 6 servings.
