NEW ENGLAND CLAM CHOWDER 
1 can condensed creamy potato soup
1/2 can milk
1/2 can reserved clam liquid (add water, if needed)
Dash of pepper
Dash of thyme
1/4 tsp. salt
1 (6 1/2 oz.) can minced clams

Bring soup, milk, liquid, pepper, thyme, and salt to a boil, slowly. Boil until thickened. You may want to add a little cornstarch thickening. Add minced clams. Heat through but DO NOT BOIL. Garnish with crumbled bacon.
