SPONGE CAKE FOR STRAWBERRIES,
BLUEBERRIES, ETC.
 
6 eggs, separated
1 c. flour
1 c. sugar

Beat whites until stiff. Blend egg yolks and 1 cup sugar. Fold in flour and whites to sugar mixture. (Even if you goof it turns out!) Put in 8 inch cake pans (2) 6 shortcake cups, or a flan pan (2). Bake at 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes.
