HOT FRUIT COMPOTE 
1 (12 oz.) pkg. pitted prunes
1 (6 oz.) pkg. dried apricots
1 (20 oz.) can pineapple chunks, undrained
1 (11 oz.) can mandarin oranges, undrained
1 can cherry pie filling
1/2 c. cooking sherry

Microwave Directions: Place prunes and apricots in a 12 x 8 x 2 inch baking dish. Combine remaining ingredients; spoon over dried fruit. Cover tightly with heavy-duty plastic wrap; fold back a small corner of wrap to allow steam to escape. Microwave at high 12 minutes; stir after 6 minutes. This is a great dish for company at breakfast; served with a sweet bread, toasted.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
