SAUTEED PEAS AND BACON 
4 slices bacon
2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen English peas
2 stalks celery, chopped
1/4 c. sliced green onions
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. dried whole thyme
Dash of pepper

Cook 4 slices bacon in a large skillet. Remove bacon reserving 1 tablespoon drippings in skillet. Drain and crumble bacon and set aside.

Break up frozen peas with a fork. Add peas and remaining ingredients to drippings in skillet. Cook over medium heat 12-15 minutes, stirring often. Spoon peas into a serving dish and sprinkle bacon over top. Serves 8.
