DOLLY'S HASH BROWN & CHEESE
CASSEROLE
 
1 (2 lb.) bag hash brown potatoes

Mix: 1 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. pepper 1/2 c. sour cream 1/4 c. chopped onion (I use more) 1 can cream of chicken soup

Add: Grated Velveeta cheese or 1 can cheddar cheese soup (with 1/4 soup can milk)

Grease casserole or Pyrex. Layer: Potatoes, chicken soup, sour cream and melted butter. Mix together.

Then add cheese; repeat, ending with cheese on top. Cook in 350 degree oven until potatoes are done, about 1 hour. This is good with 1 small can chopped green chilies mixed with cheese.
