RICE HOT DISH 
1/2 c. rice
1 lb. ground beef
Sliced raw potatoes
Sliced raw carrots
1 can tomato soup

Cook rice in 1 1/2 cups water about 20 minutes. Brown the ground beef, then drain. In a baking dish, use the browned beef as the bottom layer. Next the potatoes, the carrots, the cooked rice. The top layer is the tomato soup. Cover and bake 1-1 1/2 hours at 325 degrees.
