KARO PECAN PIE 
1 (9-inch) pie shell, uncooked
1 c. sugar
2 eggs, beaten
1 c. Karo syrup, blue label
1/8 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
2 tbsp. melted butter
1 c. pecans

Roll pastry 1/8 inch thick and line in a 9-inch pie pan. Mix remaining ingredients together adding pecans last. Pour into pastry shell. Bake in hot 400 degree oven for 15 minutes, reduce heat to 350 degrees and bake 30-35 minutes longer or until a knife comes out clean from middle.
