KARO PECAN PIE 
1 c. sugar
1 c. Karo (white or blue label)
3 eggs, slightly beaten
1/8 tsp. salt
2/3 c. pecans
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix together all ingredients, adding nuts last. Pour into a 9 inch pie pan lined with flaky pie crust and bake in a hot oven, 450 degrees, 10 minutes. Reduce heat to 350 degrees and continue baking until a knife blade inserted in center of filling comes out clean.
