KARO PECAN PIE | |
1 c. white Karo syrup 3 eggs, slightly beaten 1/2 tbsp. salt 1 tsp. vanilla extract 1 c. white sugar 2 tbsp. butter 1 c. chopped pecans Mix all ingredients for filling together; adding pecans last. Pour into pastry shell. Bake in 400 degree oven for 15 minutes then reduce heat to 350 degrees and bake for 30-35 minutes longer. When pie is done, outer edges of filling should be set with center of pie slightly soft. |
