CRUNCHY OATMEAL COOKIES 
2 sticks butter
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. almond extract
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
2 c. quick oats
4 c. cornflakes
1 c. raisins (optional)
1 c. coconut (optional)
1 c. chocolate chips (optional)
1 c. nuts (optional)

Cream butter and sugars; add eggs. Mix well. Stir in flour, baking soda and salt. Mix in oats and cornflakes (slightly crushed). Drop by teaspoonfuls on baking sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes.
