LENTIL SOUP 
2 qts. water
1 lg. can tomatoes
1 sm. carrot, cut very fine
2 c. onions, minced
3 stalks celery, cut fine
1/2 green pepper, cut fine
1/2 c. parsley, cut fine
3 bay leaves, discard before serving
1/4 tsp. black pepper, freshly ground
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 c. lentils, well washed
10 vegetable cubes (or 5 beef cubes, and 5 vegetable cubes)

Soup herbs, 1/2 teaspoon each: Parsley Chervil Basil Sweet marjoram Celery or lovage leaves

Use 1/4 teaspoon each: Rosemary Dried lemon peel

Combine all ingredients. Cook in pressure cooker for 15 minutes at 15 pounds pressure. Serves 10.
