PORK-CIDER CASSEROLE 
8 pork chops
6 med. onions, sliced
2 tbsp. paprika
4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. flour
1 c. apple juice or cider
4 med. potatoes, thinly sliced

Brown pork chops on both sides in oil, remove. Add more oil if necessary and cook onions, paprika, salt, pepper. Cook until onions are tender, about 10 minutes. Remove onions with slotted spoon.

To drippings add flour, stir until blended. Gradually add cider. Cook over medium heat until thick. In 9x13 inch pan place pork chops, onions and liquid. Arrange potatoes on top. Cover with foil. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.

I have searched for this recipe for YEARS!! It got lost in a move. The instrc of 'add more oil if necessary' was the key along with teat of ingredients. This is a beautiful, yummy dish- presents well for guests too- the hour of baking allows for last min prep.
