PORK-CIDER CASSEROLE | |
8 pork chops 6 med. onions, sliced 2 tbsp. paprika 4 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. flour 1 c. apple juice or cider 4 med. potatoes, thinly sliced Brown pork chops on both sides in oil, remove. Add more oil if necessary and cook onions, paprika, salt, pepper. Cook until onions are tender, about 10 minutes. Remove onions with slotted spoon. To drippings add flour, stir until blended. Gradually add cider. Cook over medium heat until thick. In 9x13 inch pan place pork chops, onions and liquid. Arrange potatoes on top. Cover with foil. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. |
