POLISH POUND CAKE 
1/2 lb. butter
2 c. sugar
6 lg. eggs
3 c. flour
1/2 tsp. mace
4 tsp. baking powder
1 c. milk or half and half
1 tsp. vanilla

Bake 325 degrees 1 hour. Grease and flour pan.

Soften butter. Add sugar one cup at a time. Add eggs one at a time. Continue beating. Sift flour, mace and powder. Add alternately milk/vanilla mixture and flour mixture to batter mixture. Use tube pan.
