OATMEAL CARMELITA'S 
50 caramels (14 oz.)
1/2 c. evaporated milk
2 c. flour
2 c. quick oats
1 1/2 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. butter, melted
1 c. chocolate chips
1 c. chopped pecans

Melt caramels and evaporated milk. Combine flour, oats, brown sugar, soda, salt and butter (reserve 3/4 cup). Press into greased 9 x 13 x 2 inch pan.

Bake 10 minutes at 350 degrees. Remove and sprinkle chips and pecans. Carefully spread caramel. Sprinkle reserved 3/4 cup over. Bake 15 to 20 minutes. Chill.
