DEVILED SWISS STEAK 
1 tbsp. dry mustard
1/4 c. flour
Black pepper
1 1/2 lb. round steak, cut 1 inch thick
Salt

SAUCE:

1 c. thinly sliced onions
1 c. thinly sliced carrots
1 1/2 c. canned tomatoes
2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp. brown sugar

Combine mustard and flour; pound into steak. Season with salt and pepper. Brown on both sides in a little fat or salad oil in deep skillet in Dutch oven. Add sauce: Combine all ingredients, pour over meat. Cover; simmer 2 hours or until meat and vegetables are tender. Serves 6.
