JEWISH APPLE CAKE | |
3 c. flour 4 eggs 2 c. sugar 1/2 c. orange juice 1 c. oil 3 tsp. baking powder 2 tsp. vanilla 4-5 med. apples 2 tsp. cinnamon 3 tbsp. sugar Mix together flour, eggs, sugar, orange juice, oil, baking powder and vanilla. Peel and slice apples real thin, adding 2 teaspoons cinnamon and 3 tablespoons sugar; mix well. Grease and flour angel food pan. Put 1/2 of batter into pan, then 1/2 apple mixture. Repeat. End with apples on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 90 minutes. Cool in pan for 1 hour before removing. |
