BUTTERMILK SHERBET 
2 c. buttermilk
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. crushed pineapple

Blend all ingredients and freeze until mushy. Beat 2 egg whites until stiff. Add 2 tablespoons of sugar and fold into mixture. Food coloring may be added for color. Stir often until frozen firm.
