1 c. shortening
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. peanut butter
1 c. brown sugar, packed
1 c. white sugar
2 eggs
1 tbsp. milk
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda

Cream together shortening, salt and peanut butter. Add brown sugar and white sugar. Mix well and add eggs and milk. Add flour sifted with soda. Roll into balls about the size of large marbles and press down with fork. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.

Makes about 6 1/2 dozen.
