CHILI-MAC 
1/2 pkg. (8 oz.) Red Cross Ready Cut Macaroni
1 lb. ground beef
1/2 c. onion, chopped
1 clove garlic, chopped
3 tbsp. fat or drippings
1 (No. 2 1/2) can tomatoes
1 tsp. salt
Dash of pepper
1/2 bay leaf
1/2 tsp. oregano
1 1/2 tbsp. chili powder
1/2 tsp. cumin powder
1 (No. 303) can kidney beans, drained & rinsed

Cook macaroni as directed; drain. Melt fat or drippings in heavy skillet. Add onion, garlic and ground beef and brown lightly. Add tomatoes, salt, pepper, bay leaf, oregano, chili powder and cumin powder, mixing well. Simmer for one hour. Add kidney beans. Simmer for 15 minutes. Pour over cooked macaroni and serve immediately.
